Community Assets Matter (CAM) National Training Programme – Promoting Effective Asset Management
Funded by ‘Capacitybuilders Improving Support’, Community Matters have developed a 2 day course designed to support advisors to front line community organisation about management of buildings and other community assets.
Delivered by practitioners in the field, over the two days, you will be guided through the diversity of legal and technical aspects of managing community buildings and other community assets. So, that by the end of the course, you will be better able to advise and support front line organisations.

Is this course for you?
The Programme is aimed at local infrastructure organisations, development workers, local authorities, housing associations, funding advisors, Community Anchors and others who provide information and advice to frontline organisations on the management of their community buildings and other community assets.
Course aims: By the end of the course participants will:
- Be more knowledgeable about the diversity of legal and technical aspects of managing community buildings and other community assets.
- Be better able to advise and support frontline organisations across a wider range of income generation opportunities.
- Receive the new Community Assets Matter resource handbook that addresses where to go for more specialised advice and help
Cost of course: £25 per person. Lunch and refreshments are included.
