bassac has produced its key policy priorities for 2010-2011.

For over 120 years bassac members have used evidence from their work with local communities to lobby for social justice. In 2010 we continue to work with key government departments to promote our policy position

bassac is asking national government to support three fundamental and interlinked policy objectives:

Community wellbeing is supported in a sustained way

The voice of diverse communities is strengthened

Local needs are responded to effectively.
